Rock dust — basalt powder

Volcanic rock dust that remineralises poor, tired soils.

What it's for: Igneous rock rich in silica (47%), iron, calcium and magnesium. Regular applications on poor soils improve cation exchange capacity and nutrient retention, and help correct toxicity from excess aluminium, iron or manganese.

Best for: Poor, sandy, heavily leached soils, or ground cropped for many years.

When to apply: Before establishing the crop.

How often: 1 time per growing cycle, before planting.

Dose: 150 g/m².
